MICHAEL HUNTER

Senior Consultant

Michael Hunter is a Senior Consultant and has been with HBMJ since 2005. He has worked with dozens of clients spanning Hedge and Hybrid Funds, Prime Brokers, and Fund Administrators with varying sizes and complexity of projects. Prior to joining HBMJ, Michael worked in risk management and accounting at trading firms specializing in physical commodities and complex debt. Currently, he is overseeing the Geneva upgrade line of business amongst his areas of responsibility.

Recent projects he has led include a number of Geneva upgrades at Hedge Fund and Fund Administration clients, a complex conversion to Geneva at a multi-billion dollar wealth management firm, and specialized projects at a large hybrid trading firm.

Outside of work, Michael is a fitness enthusiast and enjoys playing golf.
